In order to determine the industrial clusters, the set of tailings within the radius defined by the economically feasible distances to a cement plant is considered.

The map of industrial clusters of tailings and cement plants in Chile is one of the main products generated in the work "DETERMINATION OF POTENTIAL INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS FOR THE USE OF TAILINGS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY", a thesis topic developed by Valentina Rivera López to opt for the title of Civil Mining Engineering from the University of Chile in 2024, with the support of Corporación Alta Ley.
